Who Is This R. Scott Fellow?

Welcome to that most modern of vanity projects, the about me portion of a personal web site. In addition to the informal information below, visitors can also access my formal Curriculum Vitae.

Follow this link to my Curriculum Vitae.

In short, I'm an Iowa native and a Minnesotan, an American national now resident in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Since 1996 I have been married to Kelly Moravec. I work as an editorial consultant; my clients include some of America's leading policy institutes. I am also a published fantasy role-playing game designer. My interests include politics, history, and the 19th century campaign to suppress the slave trade. Among my hobbies are online chess and Diplomacy competitions and tabletop fantasy baseball.
